FAQ

Why is it hard to get a reservation, but when I dine I see that there are plenty of tables that are unseated?
We book tables based on an estimate that most people dine for ninety minutes at our restaurant. Therefore, we can't seat a table at 7:00 if we need it for an 8:00 reservation. We'll never purposefully hold a table open all night, that’s just bad business.

Why are there often long wait times when I see tables open?
Those tables are likely reserved and are being held. We only reserve five or six tables per 1/2 hour increment but because we allot 90 minutes for a group to dine, a table may sit empty for an hour.

Is there a dress code?
You're at the beach so come as you are. You are as likely to see people celebrating their 30th anniversary as you are to see commercial fishermen still dressed from work swapping "fish tales."

Can I bring my own bottle of wine?
Unfortunately in Worcester county it is against county code to bring alcohol into a licensed establishment. If you are looking for something special feel free to contact us ahead of time and we will do our best to source it for you.

Can I take my unfinished bottle of wine home with me?
Yes! We are happy to pack your opened bottle of wine to take home and finish at your leisure (we will even gas it for you to preserve the flavor). We also have a carryout license which allows us to sell factory sealed bottles of beer and wine to-go at special "retail pricing." Just ask your bartender or server.
