Hello from the Harbor! Well we’ve past the longest day of the year, and it is hot as Hades outside. I guess that means that it is officially, for sure, summer time!
So… Tonight, Friday, the 25th of June, we have that incomparable duo of directions not the same, Bob and Darin, THE Opposite Directions strumming from up on high from 8:30 until ? We’ve got moving up Mondays, with Clayton performing his own blend of covers and originals near the bar for your happy hour approval. Then on Tuesday, we have the return of the infamous, $2 Tuesday at the bar, with $2 Drink specials and happy hour food prices at the bar from 3 until 10. All that fun served up with a side of HOJO, Harry O and Joe Smooth strumming and saxing from up on high from 4 until 8. And then on Thursdays things get really crazy. If the fishermen return with a bountiful catch from our own little Atlantic Ocean we offer fresh local lobsters for the crazy price of $20 with two sides. Now they call it fishing not catching though, so sometimes they don’t return with nature’s bounty. But we can pretty much guarantee the lunatic fringe of Phil, The Philthy K-Nig-Ht, Knight, strumming and singing from some time around 5 o’clock until about 8 o’clock.
And we have our daily specials as well. $5.99 Lunch specials everyday from 11:30 until 3 featuring all kinds of fresh and local stuff, and a nice steadily changing variety. Also we have a lunch entrée special, our “Harbor Plate” for $12 everyday until 5 p.m. Check out www.ocshark.com for daily menu updates under “In the Kitchen.” And as always the worlds best happy hour with a view of Assateague 7 days a week (and yes 7 days means weekends too!) from 3 until 7 with food and drink specials at the bar!
